The Consortium

The HiVEP consortium brings together a balanced group of leading European research organisations, universities, vehicle manufacturers, and technology providers. Academic partners contribute expertise in power electronics, electric machines, batteries, thermal systems, and advanced control, while industrial partners provide deep experience in vehicle integration, powertrain development, and validation under real-world conditions. This combination ensures that research activities are grounded in industrial relevance and aligned with the requirements of future mass-market electric vehicles.

Overall collaboration

Collaboration within HiVEP is based on close interaction between research and industry across all project activities, from concept development and modelling to prototyping and system-level validation. Partners work jointly to integrate complementary competences, share knowledge, and address cross-disciplinary challenges associated with high-voltage, fast-charging powertrains. Through this collaborative approach, HiVEP strengthens European research and innovation capacity and supports the efficient transfer of project results toward industrial application and broader European initiatives in sustainable mobility.
